Early 2018 brought members of SABM to the International Anesthesia Research Society’s (IARS) 2018 meeting. IARS is a professional society which promotes basic science and clinical research in the field of anesthesia, including perioperative medicine, critical care, and pain management. The IARS provided a focused session for PBM. Dr. Susan Goobie, MD, Associate Professor of Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital, was invited to present the top research publications in Neonatal and Pediatric Patient Blood Management. Dr. Goobie is a member of the SABM Board of Directors and brings significant expertise in this arena. Follow the LINK to review her presentation.
