SABM wishes to place the spotlight on our 2017 award winners. Through research and clinical Patient Blood Management (PBM) initiatives, these individuals truly stand out. We thank them for their tireless efforts, and proudly recognize them as leaders in PBM.


2017 SABM Abstract Award Winners

1st Place – Dr. Victor Vakayil, University of Minnesota 

Safety and Efficacy of 4-Factor Prothrombin Complex Concentrate in Patients Receiving Vitamin K Antagonists Compared to Patients not Receiving Vitamin K Antagonists: A Single Center Retrospective Review.

2nd Place – Mr. Mark Iacovelli, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre
